QWAK,BOOBY trap the GOLD! :)

QWAK,I just had a thought WHY NOT booby trap the GOLD?:wink:

Now my first thought was of corse -- EXPLOCIVE HE HE HE and that passed fairly qiuckly:D

Then I thought how about a cheep STUN GUN riged so that when the vault is open IF you grab the GOLD with out turning OFF the hidden switch you get knocked across the room by HIGH VOLTAGE!

Sort of a low tech, off the shelf sort of thing that would not be too big a project. Call it the "DON'T TASE ME BRO" anti GOLD theft device!:D:s9:

SEE what happens when a DUCK PONDERS -- all sorts of strange ideas!

Gold is an excellent conductor itself! Stack the bars on top of each other on a steel plate and pass high voltage DC current through the plate. Anyone who touches the plate or any of the gold resting there is going to be stuck there a while. :)

Just remember to turn off the power when YOU go to grab a bar!

This is all hypothetical of course. :) Nobody should actually do this! :P

:D Go Duck...light em' up dude. :bear_w00t::bear_w00t:

A few years back I researched the legality of passive/automatic home and property defense and uncovered some very strange gray areas of particular interest.

Let's say you install various types of automatic theft deterrent systems like two pounds of C4 under your front porch with an infrared beam or motion detector trigger circuit as a simple example.
It is against the law in some states which consider automatic deadly force deterrent devices nothing but malicious entrapment by omission with intent to kill.

You blow a few scum balls away as they attempted to steal your stash.
Yada,Yada,Yada....yawn.

Since there would likely be no survivors to testify against you I wouldn't lose any sleep over being brought up on charges,no matter how the law reads.
As far as you are concerned a blind squirrel was burying a Duracell 9V battery he thought was a walnut under your front porch where you always store your recreational explosives at the exact same moment Tony Soprano and the boys were hacking down your steel entry door with a cutting torch.

Whoops...talk about bad timing.
That poor squirrel was only prepping for TSHTF...a tragic,but unfortunate streak of bad luck for the poor little thing.

:bear_w00t::bear_w00t::bear_w00t:

Without going into the moral and religious implications of blowing scum balls and thieves up by remote control while you munch on a Big Mac down at the mall in apparent safety...one thing needs to be made perfectly clear.

Never get blasted on weed or pitch a roaring drunk without a laminated copy of the covert Tiger Pit locations perimeter map in your billfold.

Never leave home without it...

Wise advice.
